Marketer FAA licensed drone pilot Detroit, MI Detroit time

I’m Paige Pope. Views are the easy part. I’m here for what happens next.

I build social, content and growth strategies that get people to move. RAW Detroit reached 46 million organic views in 2025. We did not buy them.

I run growth for a Detroit media brand that hit 46 million1 organic views last year. No paid amplification. Aerial view of the Detroit skyline at dusk I made the social ad for Shinola’s J Dilla launch. It sold out in 2 hours. Club Studio needed a guest list. They got 1,000+ sign-ups. Aerial view of the Gordie Howe International Bridge before opening Stillwater Stables picked up 12,000 followers. This is the part where I ask what you are trying to move.

1. Combined organic views across RAW Detroit’s Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, January through December 2025. No paid amplification. Source: platform analytics published in the 2026 RAW Detroit media kit. ↩

Receipts, not vibes

Views are nice. Movement is better.

Meet Paige

Creative brain. Spreadsheet heart.

I run growth at RAW Detroit, the local media brand people check when they want to know what is actually happening here. We have 245,000 followers across platforms. Yes, I read the comments.

I started a marketing agency while I was still in school because waiting seemed inefficient. Ten years later, I have an FAA drone license, strong opinions about the first three seconds of your video, and a spreadsheet for nearly everything.

What I believe

  1. Post like a person.

No one follows a brand guideline. They follow a voice. The accounts worth following sound like someone you would answer.

  2. A view only matters if it moves something.

Forty-six million views is a very nice number. The numbers I lead with are two hours to sell out a watch, 1,000 guest passes and 12,000 new followers for a stable outside Detroit. Those tell me more.

  3. Every platform has its own job.

Instagram and TikTok are good at finding new people through short video. Facebook rewards us differently: our older, more suburban audience responds to a great photo and a precise headline. Copy-pasting everywhere is a fast way to waste a good idea.

  4. If nobody was there, we do not post it.

People can tell when content comes from a place you have never stood. RAW started with photo walks. That rule still keeps us honest, and Detroiters notice.

  5. Independence is a numbers game.

People think independence runs on passion. It runs on knowing the numbers well enough that you do not have to sell out. Slightly less romantic. Much more useful.
